Hawa Mithai can be translated to Airy Sweets strictly.
These are special pink light fibrous balls of sweet. As the fibers are separated by a lot of space they make this sweet light and fluffy. Even a small blow can compresses to nothingness. It melts softly in the mouth and disappears sooner than the dreams of miss world in your arms.

This beautifully decorated elephant with water colours was seen at Amer Forte, Jaipur. In fact there is a service of elephants in Amer Forte to take you on an elephant ride, right up to the palace. It's a beautiful experience.

Amer Forte This is the The Elephant Ride Route to main entrance of the forte
Amer forte is located at a distance of about 11 kilometres from the downtown, Bari Chaupar ( BIg Square) and Hawa Mahal ( Air Palace). The journey from Hawa Mahal begins in an extremely crowded area which gradually merges into the calmness and serenity of Maota Lake Area. On the way to Amer one encounters another aquous delight known as Jal Mahal or the Water Palace ( See Pic Below).
Proceeding up from Jal mahal you will be embraced by high rising steep hills on either side. The road with a few mysterious turns will open its glory to the marvels of the Rajputana wonder the Amer Forte.
